Inisghtful, inspiring. (*****)

Suspense, murder, jealousy, fear, beauty... and beautifully written. (*****)
Madeleine Albright: The Mighty and the Almighty: Reflections on America, God, and World Affairs
Informative, interesting, insightful... though a bit dense at times. (****)
Elizabeth Gilbert: Eat, Pray, Love: One Woman's Search for Everything Across Italy, India and Indonesia
Introspective, easy and fun to read, left me feeling a little bit more open to life and with a deeper appreciation of pleasure and devotion. (*****)
Seeking balance in a chaotic, unpredictable world against a backdrop of evolving politics, spirituality, world events, relationships, navel gazing and an ongoing love affair with the city of San Francisco.
Currently a stay-at-home mother of 2 small boys (aged 2 and 1) and a Black Lab. I volunteer once a week at San Francisco's City Hall, in Supervisor Michela Alioto-Pier's office. Before motherhood, I was a corporate lawyer. I went to the University of Texas in Austin for my JD/MBA and UCLA for undergrad, where I majored in History and Art History. Oh, and I'm an ENTP.
