Juice in cereal- why not.

This morning we were out of milk. 

As I was about to start feeling guilty about it, my 5 year old, Quinn, just smiled and chirped "we'll use juice then." 

I was taken aback at first, but wanted to avoid squashing his creativity- so I just said "Will that work?" He shrugged his shoulders and said "Sure. We've done it before." 

Then both kids cheerfully put Odwalla's Haiti Hope in their cereal and loved every bite of it. I watched in amazement for a bit, and then said simply "great"- and we all moved on.
